I started this piece with one big slab (my famous technique) using the rounded edge to make the cloak and the rest of the slab to create the platform.

On this friday I made a cup holder as well as a sign on the slab.  I also connected his arm to the pole.

For this Idea my plan was to create another one of my famous frogs but this time I wanted to establish an underglazed footing before putting the body on.  It is looking promising to fire.

Here is the previous frog I was working on.  On this day I go in to add braids which I thought ended up pretty good, I also added a little microphone and podium to give it some action and make it kind of look like the frog was mid speech.

Here is my XL sized frog completely fired.  It turns out I didn't quite slip it well enough but the pieces are still cool.

I decided to give this frog a wizard theme using vibrant mystical looking colors.

On this day I went straight into work on yet another sculpture.  This time I really took into consideration the muscular effects of his arms.

Today I was focused on glazing this sculpture.  Because of the large amount of surface area I used many different types of glazes.

For this class period I was not totally sure what to do so I built another sculpture with a new theme.  This one is wizard themed.

Today I finished up all the last touches on this sculpture before sticking him on the shelf to be fired.  As you can see I added arms, smoothed him, and made additions to the bottom of his cloak.

Today I took a break from making sculptures or slabbing and I decided to try and make a piece on the wheel.  This turned out pretty decent for being one of my first thrown pieces to actually make it off the wheel.

March 6th: On this day I did some really in depth trimming on a shallow bowl that I threw on the wheel.

March 15th: Here is a really cool bowl that I made.  I really wanted to focus on thinning this one out.

For this plate I used blue and black glazes with dragons breath on top.  I know the dragons breath can be weird on food pieces but I really like the look of it.
